The Thomistic Institute at West Virginia University

The Thomistic Institute is an academic apostolate of the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington DC. It seeks to provide secular university environments with a formation in the rich intellectual heritage of Christianity, specializing in the work and tradition of St. Thomas Aquinas. This chapter of the Thomistic Institute was established in order to help undergraduate and graduate students to be formed and to form others in this Christian intellectual heritage. Our chapter is devoted to hosting distinguished speakers in the Thomistic tradition at WVU and promoting discourse of theology and philosophy through reading/study groups.
