WVU Science Policy Organization

The WVU Science Policy Organization (WVU SPO) is a student centered organization dedicated to educating young STEM professionals about public policy and providing them with the tools necessary to be lifelong advocates for the STEM fields. As a student run organization we sponsor policy workshops, advocacy trips to DC and Charleston, and host educational events such as invited speakers and our annual Science Policy Symposium. The members of SPO are dedicated to building a robust dialogue between those who will work in the STEM fields, policy makers and the general public.
